About Us

Although businesses have come and gone in Annandale, Sal’s Shoe Repair has been at the same spot on Little River Turnpike since 1954. It is hard to imagine now, but when we originally opened, Little River was a two-lane road and Annandale was a sleepy, little town.

We are a third-generation family business owned and operated by Chris Zeck since 1996. Chris succeeded his stepfather, Nick Cirillo who took over the business from his father, John Cirillo, who retired in 1982. Although Nick spends most of his time in Ocean City, he still comes back every so often to visit his family and help Chris with the shop on Saturdays. The shop’s namesake was given by our godfather, Sal, whom we honor and keep close to our hearts.

Sal’s Shoe Repair continues to grow due to the need for custom repairs as well as personal and friendly service. Now, in our 60th year performing our craft, we hope to continue the cobblers trade in Northern Virginia for years to come.
